We were recently honored to announce the MUFG Union Bank Community Recovery Program, a $10 million initiative to support nonprofit organizations that are aimed at addressing social and economic justice within communities of color. This program is specifically focused on building economic stability, including supporting access to capital, entrepreneurship, job retention, retraining, and providing critical social safety net services.

The goal of the Community Enhancement Program is to stimulate tourism, promote the economy, create jobs, and/or a better quality of life.

The Peace Movement includes both short and long-term goals. The short-term goal of the peace movement is to promote unity, healing and peace in San Diego communities as the San Diego Police Department works to solve crimes and reduce violence. The long-term goal of the peace movement is to provide policy solutions that promote economic justice, foster improved community and police relationships and to improve the overall quality of life for all San Diegans.

In 1971, the Gerald T. & Inez Grant Parker Foundation was created to support non-profit organizations in their efforts to improve life for all San Diegans. We have been serving the San Diego community for 50 years and look forward to many more.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a civil rights organization in the United States, formed in 1909 as an interracial endeavor to advance justice for African Americans by a group including W.
